Notts County signs Chelsea's Ishe Samuels-Smith on loan

Notts County has signed Ishe Samuels-Smith on a season-long loan from Chelsea. The 20-year-old defender, who can play various roles on the left side, joins the club as they prepare for their first season back in League One since 2014-15. Last season, Samuels-Smith made six appearances for Swansea City while on loan in the Championship. He recently rejoined Chelsea on a permanent basis after playing for Strasbourg. County director of football Richard Montague praised Samuels-Smith's versatility, noting his ability to contribute in both attacking and defensive phases.
