NRL Grand Final may see performances from Jon Stevens and Shannon Noll

The NRL Grand Final, scheduled for October 4, faces a change in entertainment plans after discussions with Tones and I fell through due to scheduling conflicts. INXS lead singer Jon Stevens has expressed willingness to perform, along with Shannon Noll, both offering to donate their fees to charity. NRL chairman Peter V'landys indicated that the $1 million budget for pre-game entertainment will instead support grassroots rugby initiatives. In lieu of a large pre-game show, the NRLW Grand Final will be held prior, maintaining traditions of honoring retiring players. V'landys noted a strong interest from various artists wanting to participate.
