Nuggets trade talks for Jaylen Brown stalled over assets

The Denver Nuggets recently inquired about acquiring Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics, but trade discussions did not progress. Following a strong season, Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George and multiple draft picks. The Nuggets were focused on Aaron Gordon and Cam Johnson in preliminary talks but did not offer Jamal Murray. Without enough tradeable assets, the Celtics sought other options and finalized the deal with Philadelphia.
