Nuno Tavares has opted to prolong his stay at Lazio, rejecting multiple offers from interested clubs, including Porto and Besiktas. The 26-year-old full-back joined Lazio in the summer of 2024 and faced challenges adapting to the team's style of play but regained his starting position last season. Arsenal would have received approximately €7 million from a sale due to a sell-on fee. With Tavares remaining, Lazio is now expected to shift focus to selling Luca Pellegrini, who is surplus to requirements.
