Odell Beckham Jr. and Malachi Fields change jersey numbers for New York Giants

New York Giants players updated their jersey numbers on September 1, 2026, ahead of the upcoming season. Odell Beckham Jr. is set to return to the No. 13 jersey, a number he previously wore. Malachi Fields, the team's third-round draft pick who wore No. 0 during the summer, is switching to No. 88. The transition occurs as Brian Burns takes over the No. 0 jersey. Other rookies have also been assigned numbers, including Arvell Reese in No. 52, Colton Hood in No. 12, and Dominic Zvada in No. 34. Jalin Hyatt, who previously wore No. 13, vacated the number after briefly being released and returning to the practice squad.
