Odell Beckham Jr. seeks to reclaim No. 13 jersey with New York Giants

Summary

Odell Beckham Jr. has returned to the New York Giants roster for the 2026 season and is currently wearing the No. 3 jersey. Wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has occupied the No. 13 jersey since 2023, after receiving public approval from Beckham at that time. Despite being assigned to the practice squad following the team's final roster cuts, Hyatt continues to hold the number. Beckham has indicated that he plans to discuss the situation with the team as the season opener on September 13 approaches. The receiver stated that wearing the number again would be an honor after his decade-long absence from the franchise. Beckham earned his original reputation with the team while wearing No. 13 before departing and eventually returning to the roster at age 33.
