Ohio State basketball makes final eight for 2027 guard Jason Gardner Jr

Ohio State basketball has made the final eight schools for four-star point guard Jason Gardner Jr. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound player from Fishers (Indiana) High School is ranked No. 63 in the 2027 recruiting class, according to 247 Sports Composite. Gardner is exploring offers from Auburn, Creighton, DePaul, Florida, Indiana, Mississippi State, and Stanford. He has scheduled a visit to Ohio State on October 3 and plans to visit Auburn on September 19. Ohio State's coaching staff, led by head coach Jake Diebler, is looking to bolster their roster after recent offseason changes and a successful exhibition sweep in Puerto Rico.
