Ohio State hosts Ball State for first football meeting on Saturday

Ohio State prepares to host Ball State at Ohio Stadium this Saturday in the inaugural meeting between the two college football programs. The matchup is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network. Entering its 137th season, Ohio State arrives as the No. 1 ranked team in the country according to the AP poll. The Buckeyes feature a roster led by quarterback Julian Sayan and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. While Ohio State holds high expectations for the season, the team must maintain focus on the current opponent despite a scheduled game against the Texas Longhorns in Austin the following week. The game marks a rare occurrence of a first-time opponent for the Buckeyes.
