The Ohio State men’s basketball team will host recruits Jaxson Davis and Deng Ngor for official visits during the weekend of the university's first home football game against Ball State on Sept. 5. Davis is a 6-foot, 165-pound point guard from Monarch Academy in Kansas who ranks as a four-star prospect. Ngor, a 6-8, 200-pound power forward currently at Fort Erie International Academy, recently moved up to the 55th spot in national rankings. While the Buckeyes' roster size makes signing a large 2027 recruiting class unlikely, coach Jake Diebler is utilizing the football weekend to showcase the program to these targets. Both players have additional campus visits scheduled at other universities throughout September and October.
