Ohio State offensive lineman Austin Siereveld is transitioning to the right guard position for the upcoming season. Head coach Ryan Day expects the move to strengthen the Buckeyes interior line, which now features a core of Siereveld, center Carson Hinzman, and left guard Luke Montgomery. This trio brings over five years of collective starting experience to the middle of the offensive formation. The coaching staff sought to fill a vacancy at right guard following the transfer of Tegra Tshabola to Kentucky. While the final lineup was pending during the third week of camp, Siereveld’s return to the interior is intended to solidify the line's physicality. Junior Ian Moore is currently slated to handle duties at left tackle, shifting Siereveld back inside to reunite with his experienced linemates.
