Ohio State RB Legend Bey absent at start of training camp

Ohio State freshman running back Legend Bey missed the opening of training camp on August 6 due to a violation of team rules. Bey was not present during the Buckeyes’ first practice held outside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Coach Ryan Day stated that Bey is learning and will return to practice soon but will not participate for the initial days of camp. As a four-star recruit, he was anticipated to contribute significantly after transferring from Tennessee following a complex recruitment process.
