Ohio State shortstop Henry Kaczmar signs free agent deal with Mariners

Henry Kaczmar, the former Ohio State shortstop, has signed a free agent contract with the Seattle Mariners. Kaczmar, who went undrafted in the 2026 MLB Draft, will join his cousin Mason Eckelman, a catcher drafted by the Mariners. Kaczmar had a standout senior season, setting a single-season record for doubles at OSU and earning All-Big Ten honors. He previously played for South Carolina before returning to Ohio State.
