OHSAA awards college scholarships to 15 Greater Cincinnati student-athletes

The Ohio High School Athletic Association distributed $198,000 in scholarships to 198 graduating seniors across the state. Fifteen recipients hail from the Greater Cincinnati area, recognized for their academic performance, class rank, community service, and athletic achievements. This financial aid package is part of a larger initiative that saw $598,000 awarded through the college scholarship program over the last three years. The association also provided $1,250 to every member high school to assist with athletic department expenses such as equipment and transportation. Recipients were selected through a point-based system, excluding students who accepted Division I or II athletic scholarships or military academy appointments. The funding originates from the organization's Athletic Enrichment Fund established in 2023.
