The Oklahoma City Thunder extended a two-way qualifying offer to Brooks Barnhizer on June 30. Barnhizer, a second-round pick (No. 44 overall) in the 2025 NBA Draft from Northwestern, has become a restricted free agent. Last season, he averaged 18.1 points and 9.8 rebounds during his 11 appearances with the OKC Blue in the G League, but struggled with the Thunder, averaging 1.7 points in 40 games. This decision allows the Thunder to match any offers Barnhizer receives from other NBA teams.
