OKC Thunder set for fewest back-to-back games in 2026-27 season

Summary

The Oklahoma City Thunder will play 82 regular-season games in the 2026-27 NBA season, beginning in October 2026. They will have 13 back-to-back games, the fewest in the league along with another team. Last season, they also had 13 back-to-backs but faced an increase after reaching the 2025 NBA Cup semifinals. This lower frequency could benefit the Thunder in managing player rest and rotation throughout the season.
