OKC Thunder sign Kenrich Williams to one-year deal worth $5 million

Summary

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed Kenrich Williams to a one-year, $5 million contract. This decision follows the team's previous decline of his $7.2 million team option, which saved them $49.9 million in luxury tax penalties. Williams returns to OKC after averaging 6.5 points and 3.3 rebounds last season, continuing his tenure with the Thunder, a team that reached the 2026 Western Conference finals. The Thunder filled their final roster spot with this signing after trading Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe earlier this summer and drafting Aday Mara and Bennett Stirtz.
