OKC Thunder sign Killian Hayes to G League team

The Oklahoma City Thunder have added former NBA draft pick Killian Hayes to their G League team, the OKC Blue, in a trade with the Cleveland Charge. The Thunder acquired Hayes, along with Justyn Hamilton and Babatunde Akingbola, sending Zack Austin and a 2026 G League second-round draft pick in return. Hayes, the No. 7 pick in the 2020 NBA draft, struggled during his tenure with the Detroit Pistons, averaging 7.9 points and 5 assists per game. Following a challenging start to his NBA career, he has now signed with the Thunder as he seeks to revive his professional prospects in the G League.
