Oklahoma City Thunder hold 2026 NBA draft introductory presser

The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted their 2026 NBA draft rookie introductory press conference on June 26. Sam Presti, Aday Mara, Bennett Stirtz, and Otega Oweh addressed local media, marking the newcomers' first official event with the franchise. Mara was selected with the No. 12 pick, Stirtz with the No. 16 pick via a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies, and Oweh at No. 41 after a trade with the Miami Heat. Mara and Stirtz are expected to contribute immediately, while Oweh is likely to spend the year in the G League. The players’ jersey numbers were also announced during the event: Mara will wear No. 15, Stirtz No. 14, and Oweh No. 13.
