Oklahoma defensive lineman David Stone has been nominated for the ninth annual Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award. The honor recognizes FBS players who demonstrate leadership, integrity, and sportsmanship on and off the field, independent of on-field statistics. This nomination arrives while Jason Witten currently serves as the tight ends coach for the Sooners. Stone, a central figure in the Oklahoma defense, recorded one tackle during a 51-0 win against UTEP in the season opener.
