Oklahoma football secures commitment from 4-star athlete Bode Sparrow

Brent Venables and the Oklahoma football program have received a commitment from four-star athlete Bode Sparrow on June 26. Sparrow, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect from Kaysville, Utah, chose the Sooners over BYU, Oregon, and Utah. Ranked as the top player in Utah and the No. 82 overall player nationally for the 2027 cycle, Sparrow has been a standout two-way player, excelling as both a receiver and safety. His commitment adds to an already strong recruiting class ranked No. 4 by 247Sports. Oklahoma now has 26 commitments in the 2027 class, with 12 rated as four-star prospects or higher.
