Oklahoma football secures QB Trey Tagliaferri's commitment for 2028 class

Oklahoma football has landed a commitment from Trey Tagliaferri, a four-star quarterback from Bergen Catholic High School, for the 2028 recruiting class. Tagliaferri, who previously committed to Notre Dame, switched his allegiance to the Sooners after only a week. At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, he becomes the first player in the 2028 class. Oklahoma's offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle and quarterbacks coach John Kuceyeski were instrumental in securing Tagliaferri's commitment. The Sooners, currently building a strong 2027 class, aim to develop Tagliaferri into a top quarterback under their guidance.
