Oklahoma linebacker Kip Lewis named to Nagurski Award watch list

Kip Lewis, a senior linebacker for the Oklahoma Sooners, has been named to the Nagurski Award watch list ahead of the 2026 season. Lewis is entering his fifth year at Oklahoma and was part of head coach Brent Venables' inaugural recruiting class. In the previous season, he recorded 76 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks. Alongside Lewis, Oklahoma defensive tackle David Stone was also recognized on the watch list. The Nagurski Award honors the best defensive player in college football.
