Oklahoma secures commitment from 2027 RB Jakoby Dixon

Running back Jakoby Dixon from Brenham, Texas, committed to Oklahoma on Saturday. The Sooners emerged as a top choice for Dixon, who previously had offers from Oregon, Texas, and Texas A&M. The commitment adds to Oklahoma's already strong 2024 recruiting class, which is currently ranked No. 2 nationally. Dixon was offered by head coach Brent Venables in mid-May, solidifying Oklahoma's position in his recruitment process.
