Oklahoma seeks to add Braxton Fely and Danny Saili to defensive roster

The Oklahoma Sooners head into their Friday night season opener against the UTEP Miners with potential roster additions at the defensive tackle position. Defensive lineman Danny Saili has been granted a temporary restraining order and currently appears on the official team roster. Former Boise State defensive lineman Braxton Fely also secured a temporary restraining order, allowing him to enter the transfer portal and join Oklahoma for the 2026 season. While both players await preliminary injunction hearings to finalize their eligibility, the team expects them to contribute to the defensive rotation.
