Oklahoma Sooners expected to recruit two blue-chip prospects for 2028

The Oklahoma Sooners are gaining traction in recruiting for the 2028 class, having received a commitment from in-state tight end Connor Arant. Predictions now favor the Sooners to land four-star wide receiver Dedrick Kimbrough and four-star linebacker Jay Schell. Kimbrough, from Alabaster, Alabama, boasts 23 Power Four offers and is known for his ability to create big plays. Schell, out of Rabun Gap, Georgia, is recognized as one of the top linebackers nationally with 38 Power Four offers. Both prospects are viewed as significant additions to the Sooners' talent pool.
