Oklahoma Sooners hire Abigail O'Connor for performance nutrition role

The Oklahoma Sooners have appointed Abigail O'Connor as Associate AD, Performance Nutrition for their program. O'Connor joins OU after eight years with the Michigan Wolverines, where she served as Director of Football Performance Nutrition. Her responsibilities will include overseeing performance nutrition across all sports, focusing on continuity of care for student-athletes. O'Connor's background includes experience at Minnesota and Houston, where she has established her qualifications as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. The Sooners are set to face Michigan in a matchup on September 12th.
