Oklahoma Sooners place 10 players on Media Preseason All-SEC team

The Oklahoma Sooners had ten players selected to the 2026 Media Preseason All-SEC team, announced on July 24 during SEC media days in Tampa, Florida. Kicker Tate Sandell and long snapper Ben Anderson made the first team, while eight others were on the second team, including wide receiver Isaiah Sategna III and offensive lineman Michael Fasusi. Despite the strong representation, several Sooners were considered snubs, including quarterback John Mateer and defensive lineman Jayden Jackson. Fall camp for Oklahoma is set to begin in less than two weeks ahead of their season opener against UTEP on September 4th.
