Oklahoma Sooners schedule Missouri State for September 2028

The Oklahoma Sooners will host the Missouri State Bears on September 9, 2028, in Norman. This addition comes after Oklahoma adjusted their 2028 non-conference schedule, which was in excess due to the SEC's transition to a nine-game conference layout starting in 2026. The Sooners previously dropped a game against Colorado State and will now face Temple, Missouri State, and Houston that year. Oklahoma and Missouri State last met in 2020, with the Sooners winning 48-0 when the Bears were still at the FCS level. Missouri State has since moved to the FBS level and Conference USA.
