Summary

Oklahoma State men's basketball enters the 2026-27 season with renewed expectations under head coach Steve Lutz. The Cowboys have assembled a highly regarded roster featuring a mix of top recruits and experienced transfers. This follows a 20-15 season where defensive struggles hindered their performance, resulting in an NIT second round exit. With the NCAA Tournament expanding, OSU aims to secure a spot in its first tournament since 2021. Key players include McDonald's All-American Latrell Allmond and experienced guard Jordan Burks, who looks to bring leadership to the team.
