Oklahoma wide receiver Parker Livingstone is available for season opener against UTEP

Oklahoma wide receiver Parker Livingstone is cleared to play in Friday night’s season opener against the University of Texas at El Paso. Livingstone had been sidelined recently while navigating concussion protocol, leaving his status as questionable leading up to the game. The wide receiver joined the Sooners this year as a transfer from the Texas Longhorns, where he recorded 29 receptions for 516 yards and six touchdowns during the 2025 season. His availability provides quarterback John Mateer with an additional target for the team's opening matchup. While Oklahoma enters the game as the expected favorite against UTEP, Livingstone’s return allows the team to integrate a key offensive piece into their rotation immediately. He has three years of eligibility remaining with the program.
