Ole Miss basketball adds Corey Stephenson from FIU for 2026-27 season

Corey Stephenson, a wing transfer from FIU, has committed to join Ole Miss basketball for the 2026-27 season, according to reports on August 25. Stephenson started 31 games at FIU last season, averaging 18.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. He previously played at CSU Bakersfield and Northeast Mississippi Community College, and won an extra year of eligibility due to a lawsuit against the NCAA. This marks Stephenson as the seventh transfer added to the Rebels' roster, which also includes guard Ben Henshall from the NBL and several incoming freshmen. The Rebels will look to integrate their new talents alongside returning players Ilias Kamardine, Patton Pinkins, and Zach Day.
