Ole Miss safety Joenel Aguero ejected for targeting against Florida

Ole Miss safety Joenel Aguero was ejected from the Rebels' Week 4 game against Florida on September 26. The targeting call occurred just before halftime after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Florida receiver Bailey Stockton. At the time of the ejection, Florida was leading 17-3. Aguero is eligible to play in the following game against Vanderbilt on October 10. This is the first targeting penalty for Ole Miss in 2026.
