Olivia Breen claims T38 long jump gold at Commonwealth Games

Olivia Breen won gold in the T38 long jump final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Competing at the Scotstoun Stadium, she achieved a jump of 5.09m in the first round, which exceeded her previous Games record but was wind invalidated. Breen later secured a wind-legal jump of 5.03m in the second round, defending her title from Gold Coast 2018. This victory marked her second medal of the Games, adding to her silver in the T38 100m final. Australia’s Layla Sharp and Ayla Kowalczyk finished with silver and bronze, respectively.
