Haas driver Ollie Bearman will start Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix at the back of the grid after a crash in the final practice session at the Madring. Bearman lost control of his car through Turn 10 in the final seconds of the session and made heavy contact with the barrier. While he was uninjured in the accident, the Haas team could not repair the significant damage to his vehicle before the start of qualifying. Bearman attributed the mistake to a combination of older tires and a difficult gust of wind at the high-speed venue. The team had recently introduced upgrades to the car in Monza, which his teammate Esteban Ocon is currently utilizing in the qualifying session. Bearman is now focused on recovering positions during the upcoming 57-lap race.
