Ollie Robinson records sub-19 bowling average in third Test against Pakistan

England bowler Ollie Robinson has become the first player in 112 years to maintain a Test bowling average below 19 after at least 20 matches. The achievement occurred during the third Test match at Edgbaston, where Robinson took his career wicket tally to 104 in 24 games. During Pakistan's second innings, he dismissed openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique, leaving the tourists at 0-2 before rain interrupted the proceedings. Robinson is only the sixth player in cricket history to reach the 20-Test milestone with an average under 20. He joins an elite statistical group that includes Sydney Barnes and Jasprit Bumrah. England currently leads the three-Test series 2-0 and remains in a strong position as play continues at the venue.
