Omar Artan appointed to referee UEFA Super Cup on August 12

UEFA’s official X account posted on Thursday, June 11, that Somali referee Omar Artan will officiate the 2026 UEFA Super Cup between PSG and Aston Villa in Salzburg. The post follows reports that Artan was denied entry into the United States before the 2026 World Cup.
