Omar Megeed signs with Greuther Fürth on a two-year deal

Omar Megeed has joined Greuther Fürth as a free agent, agreeing to a two-year contract with an option for a third. This move comes four years after he became the youngest player in HSV history, making his debut in August 2022. Despite that early success, he has made limited appearances for HSV, spending most of his time with HSV II in the Regionalliga, where he played 69 matches. After joining Greuther Fürth as a trialist and performing well in friendly matches, the club signed him permanently. Sporting Director Daniel Meyer expressed confidence in Megeed's potential development.
