Omari Evans seeks spot on Kansas City Chiefs roster amid training camp
Summary

Former Washington Huskies wide receiver Omari Evans is aiming to secure a position with the Kansas City Chiefs as training camp progresses. The 6-foot, 195-pound player has made an impression, particularly in kick returner drills, a role he did not occupy during his college career. Injuries to teammates have opened opportunities for Evans, who recently made a diving catch in practice. The Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Rams for their first preseason game on Saturday, where Evans will be tested further as he attempts to solidify his role within the team.
