Ontario Tower Buzzers secure first postseason berth in franchise history

In their inaugural season, the Ontario Tower Buzzers clinched the team’s first second-half championship and a playoff spot. The team secured the title this past Sunday with a 10-7 win against the Stockton Ports. Playing at the newly opened ONT Field, the club currently holds a 36-24 second-half record entering a Tuesday matchup against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Managed by John Shoemaker, the squad leads the California League in hits, triples, and home runs. Easton Shelton has provided significant offensive production, setting a California League record with 106 runs batted in this season. The organization has credited the rapid success to community support and the development of young players under Shoemaker’s leadership.
