Oregon baseball hires Ryan Fineman as recruiting coordinator

Summary

Oregon Ducks baseball announced the hiring of Ryan Fineman as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator on July 16, 2026. Fineman, who has experience with Troy and Alabama, is expected to bolster Oregon's recruiting efforts in response to losing top talents to better-funded programs. The Ducks had previously selected a program-record seven players in the MLB Draft this year and are adapting their strategy, potentially leaning more on transfers for the upcoming season. Fineman's background includes significant successes at the College World Series level, which the Ducks hope will enhance their roster construction moving forward.
