Oregon center Iapani Laloulu named to Rimington Trophy watchlist again

Oregon Ducks center Iapani Laloulu has made the 2026 Rimington Trophy watchlist for the second consecutive year. After being a finalist for the award in 2025, Laloulu aims to lead a new offensive line entering fall camp. He has been a key contributor since joining the Ducks in 2023 and took over as the starting center in 2024. Head coach Dan Lanning noted that discovering the best offensive line combination will be a focus early in the season. If the line performs well and Laloulu continues his strong play, he could become the second Duck to win the prestigious award, following Jackson Powers-Johnson in 2023.
