Oregon players express frustration after Boise State dances to Autzen Stadium song

The No. 2 Oregon Ducks defeated Boise State during their season opener Saturday at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. During the break between the third and fourth quarters, Boise State players participated in the stadium tradition of dancing to the song “Shout” from the film Animal House. The game was tied 24-24 at the time, an act Oregon players described as disrespectful. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore and tight end Jamari Johnson noted the incident provided motivation for the final period. The teams traded field goals in the fourth quarter before a 62-yard touchdown pass from Dante Moore to Dakorien Moore secured the victory for the Ducks. Boise State coach Spencer Danielson noted the team had been practicing to the song for weeks in preparation for late-game scenarios.
