Oregon versus Oklahoma State kickoff delayed due to lightning at Boone Pickens Stadium

The home opener between No. 6 Oregon and Oklahoma State at Boone Pickens Stadium has been delayed until at least 12:30 p.m. CT. Severe weather forced officials to halt pregame warmups at 9:45 a.m. due to lightning in the Stillwater area. Despite the postponement, a large contingent of NFL personnel remains at the stadium to observe the matchup, including Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort and Atlanta Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham. The game features quarterbacks Dante Moore for Oregon and Drew Mestemaker for Oklahoma State. Additionally, Oklahoma State enters the contest with a shift on the offensive line as Shaun Torgeson prepares to start at left tackle in place of the injured Jacob Sexton.
