Orioles snap six-game losing streak with 6-4 victory over Cleveland Guardians

The Baltimore Orioles ended a six-game skid Monday by defeating the Cleveland Guardians 6-4 at home. Starting pitcher Trevor Rogers earned the win, working into the eighth inning while allowing only one run on six hits. Coby Mayo paced the Baltimore offense with two home runs, his first career multihomer game. Cleveland struggled with command on the mound, as starter Joey Cantillo allowed five walks and hit two batters in just 2 1/3 innings of work. Nathaniel Lowe provided late scoring for the Guardians with a three-run home run in the ninth inning against Andrew Kittredge, but Josh Walker secured the final out for his first career save. The teams are scheduled to meet again Tuesday night with Brandon Young set to face Tanner Bibee.
