Orlando Pride defeats Houston Dash 3-1 after weather delay

The Orlando Pride secured a 3-1 victory over the Houston Dash on Sunday at Inter.co Stadium. The match was delayed for more than 90 minutes due to inclement weather in the Orlando area. Houston fell behind early after a 14th-minute goal and trailed by two at halftime. Orlando pushed its lead to 3-0 midway through the second half before Kiki Van Zanten scored for the Dash in the 72nd minute. Leah Klenke, Barbara Banda, and Haley McCutcheon provided the scoring for the Pride. Khyah Harper recorded the assist on the lone goal for Houston, which now moves to a 7-5-11 record this season. The Dash are scheduled to return to Shell Energy Stadium next Saturday to face Utah Royals FC.
