OSSAA executive director David Jackson announces his retirement for 2027

Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association executive director David Jackson will retire at the end of the 2026-27 school year. His final day with the organization is scheduled for June 30, 2027. Jackson served the OSSAA for 31 years, including the final 11 years as the organization's executive director. He joined the association in 1996 as an assistant director before eventually serving as associate executive director in 2016. Beyond his state-level duties, Jackson served on the National Federation of State High School Associations board of directors and held the position of NFHS president during the 2018-19 school year. OSSAA board president Matt Holder commended Jackson for his integrity and leadership throughout his tenure.
