Ottawa Senators sign Eskild Bakke Olsen to entry-level contract

The Ottawa Senators have officially signed Norwegian forward Eskild Bakke Olsen to a one-year, entry-level contract as of June 16, 2026. Bakke Olsen, 24, recently played for Linköping HC in the SHL, where he recorded 32 points in 52 games. He also contributed to Norway's surprising bronze medal success at the World Championships, tallying two goals and three assists. Bakke Olsen will aim to secure a spot on the Senators' NHL roster during training camp, with plans to play in the AHL if not. This move follows his successful stint in Sweden and prior experience with his hometown team, Storhamar.
