Ousmane Kromah leads Florida State past New Mexico State with 115 rushing yards

Florida State running back Ousmane Kromah rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown in the team's 34-17 win over New Mexico State. The sophomore recorded his first collegiate rushing score on a one-yard carry in the fourth quarter and produced a 52-yard run during the contest. Pro Football Focus graded Kromah as the highest-performing running back of the week with a 90.6 score. His performance helped the Seminoles total 220 rushing yards in the season opener, while teammate Samuel Singleton Jr. added 42 yards on the ground. Kromah is now the featured back under new running backs coach Kam Martin as the team prepares for its upcoming ACC opener. The Seminoles face No. 19 SMU on September 7.
