Packers activate Josh Jacobs for season debut against Lions

The Green Bay Packers activated running back Josh Jacobs off the commissioner's exempt list ahead of their game against the Detroit Lions. Jacobs, returning after missing the first six games of the season due to legal issues, is expected to significantly enhance the Packers' struggling run game. The team currently ranks last in the NFL for rushing yards per game, averaging 59.8. Jacobs brings a strong track record, having ranked eighth in rushing yards and fourth in rushing touchdowns over the last two seasons combined. His availability comes as the Packers aim for a crucial win in this NFC North rivalry matchup.
