The Green Bay Packers have elevated wide receiver Bo Melton and linebacker Kristian Welch to the active roster for the upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings. Melton was released from the 53-man roster earlier this week before re-signing to the practice squad. The temporary elevation makes him eligible to play in Sunday's Week 1 matchup. Over the past three seasons, Melton has recorded 28 catches for 416 yards and two touchdowns across 38 games. The team also promoted Welch, who appeared in eight games last season and tallied three tackles. These roster moves bolster the team's depth as they prepare to face Minnesota.
